There’s been a lot of talk about the star talent crisis in Silicon Valley, with tech giants like Apple, Microsoft, Google and Facebook struggling to acquire the best candidates around; especially in the areas of product and engineering. As stated in a recent Forbes article,
“A survey conducted by LinkedIn in 2015 found that the top factors influencing a candidate’s decision are: workplace location, compensation package, culture and strong leadership. Work-life balance and corporate social responsibility are two of four lifestyle factors that influence candidate decisions the most.”
