The Corsair iCUE 5000D might be a little pricier than other cases on this list, but it’s by far our best case for RTX 4090 builds that use RGB lights or LEDs. The Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro’s recessed radiator, AIO, and storage mounting design gives you much more space for long GPU card mounting – ideal for bulky cards like the NVIDIA RTX4090. It supports VGA lengths of up to 330mm (with reservoir) or 450mm (without reservoir), which is impressively large for the size of the unit. On top of the original high-ventilation open-frame structure you’d expect from the Core P3 series, the P3 TG Pro also offers a new design mounting bracket so you can concentrate fan power on the GPU. The PCI-E slot itself is rotatable, and you can choose between 3 placement layouts: wall mount, horizontal, and vertical.

This is our best case for RTX 4090 in the open frame class, and makes a great choice for builders who want to get a good look at the internal workings of their PC in action. Although it only supports six fans at the most, the open structure gives enough ventilation that this shouldn’t be an issue.

The NZXT H7 Flow RGB is designed with airflow in mind. Perforated front and top panels direct filtered air through the case to cool down the components and enhance performance, whilst an angled 120mm fan draws air from below the case to provide direct cooling for your power-hungry 4090 graphics card. It’s impressively spacious, too, which really helps keep temperatures down and combat overheating.

The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini offers 395mm of GPU clearance and a ton of cool features. You can fit up to nine fans on the side, top, bottom and rear for all-around airflow, and the tempered glass panels release heat whilst exposing the intricate internal workings of your PC. The aluminium elements keep things looking and feeling cool, too.
