I doubt I’ll be the only person sending the Aeron as their choice for computer chair, but that’s due to the fact that it’s THAT comfortable. I use one daily for up to 12 hours sometimes and I never have an ache or issue from doing so. By far the most comfortable chair that also offers back support and breathability.

If the price tag of the Aeron scares you or breaks the budget (not many people want to spend $1k+ on a chair). The Autonomous ErgoChair 2 is a great alternative that definitely doesn’t break the bank. I used one previously at another job and loved it as well. It offers a lot for the money, including breathable back support and the ability to lean in different positions (great for mid-day breaks).
