Google Meet
This product was recommended by Brian Williams from Quotes Toolbox
• I have found that it is easier to share a screen than Zoom. Zoom shares apps. As long as you drag on app or display an app on the screen it shows. You can switch between a meeting agenda on a Word Document, a spreadsheet, your browser, and other apps just by maximizing them on the screen • The free version limits meeting to 60 minutes. That should be enough to cover what you need to avoid wasted time. If it isn’t enough time, you can upgrade to the paid version • When you schedule a meeting with Google calendar, Google Meet places a unique Google Meet link in the calendar event. No copy and paste needed. Also, it is not a meeting room, so no one will interrupt the meeting. • You have the options of a whiteboard, changing the layout, adding visual effects, full screen, and picture in picture • It is easy to invite others while the meeting is in progress
OBS Studio
This product was recommended by Brian Williams from Quotes Toolbox
One drawback for the free version is that you can’t record the meetings. If you need that feature, I recommend OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software). It is free open source software that you can use to record your screen. So, it can be used to record meetings, or for other uses when you need a screen recording.
Zoom
This product was recommended by Amit Gayen from Heat Pump Chooser
Zoom app is the best meeting app because it has many interactive features like raising a hand, clapping, a chatbox, etc. where you can still actively participate in a meeting even when you’re not talking but actively listening to the current speaker. These features enable you to give input and/or reaction to what is being discussed without interrupting the speaker. These features make meetings held via Zoom more fruitful and productive.
Slack
This product was recommended by Brian Nagele from Restaurant Clicks
In my experience, Slack is the best meeting app because it allows you to have an instant conversation with your team. You can also share files, documents, and images in a chat. It is also very easy to use as it has many features that make it user-friendly. You can also automate tasks with its app integrations.
Meetup
This product was recommended by David Hampshere from Purple Egg Real Estate
After divorce, I realized I needed to get out and meet people. I tried a few methods, but meetup.com (both website and app) did the trick. It’s designed for complete strangers to show up alone without any awkwardness, and over time become friends.

Asana
This product was recommended by Kyle Kroeger from ViaTravelers
Asana is unquestionably one of the most affordable meeting apps for remote workers in terms of quality and essential for busy small business owners, like myself, who don’t have a great deal of time to spend on technical problems or extra money for an IT department for expert input. It also has a free plan for up to 15 members, and paid plans for up to 30 members for just a few dollars a month, which means you can include a lot of contributers who can paticipate without additional charges. This makes it an excellent choice for small businesses like ours that require a meeting app for employees from all over the world but do not have the budget for more expensive options. I’ll just add that Asana’s customer service is excellent, if you need quick and dependable assistance while you’re on the go…regardless of your time zones.
Whereby
This product was recommended by Brett Robinson from Wired Clip
Whereby is the perfect option for smaller businesses because it has a very streamlined design and speedy service that is optimized for teams of 15-30. With this, there is no need for team members to create an account or download anything to join meetings through this site – all an employee will need is a link to the meeting and they are good to go! Additionally, the initial cost is free when starting up with Whereby, which gives businesses the chance to see if it is the right app for them.

Microsoft Teams offers a comprehensive platform for hosting meetings, managing team collaboration, and integrating with other Microsoft products such as Outlook and SharePoint. It has a user-friendly interface and allows for secure communication between all team members. For example, it has options for virtual whiteboards, screen sharing, and chat functions to ensure efficient and productive meetings. Teams can have recordings of meetings to be easily accessed and shared with colleagues who may have missed the session or need a refresher on critical points.
