Jabra PanaCast 20 4K Video Conferencing Camera

This product was recommended by Jacob Richard from Camera Prism

The Jabra PanaCast 20 webcam is ideal for handling important video conferences with a single individual or a team, but you might be able to obtain much better quality audio and visual results from cheaper models. Its metal build is solid and unique. The PanaCast 20 is a 4K webcam with a 13MP, 1/3.2-inch sensor, 117-degree, f/2.25 lens. Coming to the microphone quality, it’s good, not great. However, what I like is Microphones consistently pick up voices regardless of distance.

Meeting Owl Pro

This product was recommended by Bello Taoheed from Entafield

Its wonderful optics and innovative technology enable it to give superior performance in professional meeting spaces of any size or arrangement, regardless of the room’s dimension.

KanDao Meeting Pro 360 Conference Room Camera

This product was recommended by Lauren Cook-McKay from Divorce Answers

Now that many companies have adopted a hybrid work setup and are back to using their conference rooms, a tabletop conference camera makes much more sense. Kandao Meeting is a 360° all-in-one conferencing camera that utilizes two wide-angled cameras, the images of which are stitched together to provide a 360-degree view of the room. It features three different camera modes to suit different types of online meetings. First is the discussion mode, wherein the 360-view of the room is shown on top of a transmitted image. This mode also supports up to four close-up videos. There’s also the presentation mode, wherein the camera detects who’s presenting and zooms in on them. In global mode, the camera splits the entire view into two halves. It also picks up audio quite well, thanks to its eight microphones. Another cool thing about it is its pop-up mount. You can press the camera down when not in use, which also turns it off. Press it again, and it will pop up, ready for use.

eMeet Meeting Capsule

This product was recommended by James Costa from Jim Costa Films

The eMeet Meeting Capsule checks all the conference room camera feature boxes. It features a 360-degree panoramic camera for full room coverage. The resolution is full 1080P HD at 30FPS. Unlike other units, the 360-degree view doesn’t come from multiple lenses.. Instead, the camera lens swivels back and forth. By pointing it straight up at the ceiling, the 360-degree view kicks in and allows for viewing the entire room. The audio provided is outstanding thanks to built-in noise reduction, but the eMeet allows for the addition of another external mic if needed (sold separately). When connecting to the internet, use the built in USB Type-C port for connecting to your computer. Note: There’s no wireless option such as a USB fob. A unique feature is the ability to connect (or daisy chain) two units together. The device is both PC & Mac compatible and works with most major current video conference software packages. However, it’s not Chromebook compatible.. Unlike most units meant to sit on a table, the eMeet Meeting Capsule includes a 1/4” thread on the bottom allowing you to mount it on to a tripod.

Obsbot Tiny 4K

This product was recommended by James Costa from Jim Costa Films

While lost conference room cameras are designed for multiple users is board rooms, there are cameras designed for single users as well , and the Obsbot Think 4K camera is a good option for that category. The unit offers face tracking in full 4K resolution at 30FPS allowing you to move around in a room without stepping out of the frame thanks to the 86-degree kens field of view. This is achieved via a built in two axis gimbal that can pan up to 150 degrees. The tilt range is from 45 degrees downward to 45 degrees upward. Note: Image quality drops off in low light adding noise to the image. The unit offers numerous unique features. For example, you can turn tracking off by placing either hand beside your face with the palm facing the webcam. If you hold up your thumb and forefinger in an L- shape beside your face, the system recognizes this as a command to begin a slow zoom-in. The default is a two-times zoom; however, you can change the gesture-activated zoom level from one to four times, with fractional steps in between. The unit works on Mac, PC, Chromebook as well as mobile devices such as Android phones and with most major software packages.

Logitech BCC950 ConferenceCam

This product was recommended by David Reid from VEM Tooling

If you’re working with a limited amount of space. In that case, the BCC950 from Logitech is a great camera and loudspeaker combo that has an extension pole to raise the electronic eye if necessary. This increases the odds that your distant coworkers can see and hear you clearly, thanks to Logitech’s advanced noise-cancellation technology. This USB webcam can be used with a wide variety of operating systems.

Microsoft LifeCam Studio

This product was recommended by David Reid from VEM Tooling

Despite being advertised as a 1080p camera, the Microsoft LifeCam Studio’s sensor will only record at 720p unless you install third-party webcam software. This is an example of some deceptive wording on Microsoft’s side. If you need a little higher quality for business conferencing, Cyberlink YouCam is a great option.

Logitech C930e 1080P HD Video Webcam

This product was recommended by Irene Graham from Spylix

As an alternative to the bulky and expensive Meeting Owl Pro, we suggest checking out the Logitech C930e, a compact and reasonably priced conference camera. Its short-range mic has a 1m rating, so it’s best suited for smaller conference rooms, but it should be fine for solo or small-group meetings. The camera’s Full HD 1080p resolution is above-average for a conference camera, especially at this price point, so that’s another plus.

Huddly IQ Room Kit

This product was recommended by Irene Graham from Spylix

The Huddly IQ may look like a box camera from the early twentieth century. Still, it’s a cutting-edge webcam for use in conference rooms that employs artificial intelligence-powered technology to frame up individuals for a more natural viewing experience. This system is so versatile that it can even analyze meetings. If you’re on the other end of the line and need a quick notification for when a meeting is ready to start, the camera can tell you how many people are in the room, how often the room is utilized, and when it is or isn’t filled.

This camera, which has a security flap you can close when not in use, works with Mac, Windows, and Linux computers and only requires a USB connection to get started.

Jabra Panacast 20 Conferencing Camera

This product was recommended by Eleanor Fletcher from The Best Brisbane

Without the need for the actual camera to move and distract you, it automatically includes everyone on the call thanks to AI-powered zooming and panning. In addition, the high resolution offered here allows the camera to zoom in on someone (lossless up to 6x) and still produce a Full HD image, even though the majority of videoconferencing services do not yet support 4K. Additionally, the camera cleverly adjusts the lighting in dark and dim rooms using AI. You also get impressive sound quality thanks to a triple-mic array. Additionally, the video call quality produced by this 4K webcam is among the best we’ve ever seen. Despite the price, the build quality is excellent, and USB-C connectivity is included.

Razer Kiyo 1080p Streaming Webcam

This product was recommended by Min Tom from Happy Hong Konger

The Razer Kiyo’s image quality is its biggest draw. The webcam lights up the speaker with an integrated ring light in any lighting condition. The camera is capable of recording at 30 or 60 frames per second (fps) in 1080p. This camera is perfect for professionals who frequently work in low-light conditions, such as content creators or everyday workers.
