Paulo is key advisor for the advancement of reconstruction and reconciliation efforts in Guinea-Bissau. He is Chairman of the Constelor Group and AFIG (West African Investment Fund). Paulo is a member of the Board of Directors of the BOAD (West African Development Bank;) member of the Board of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (“ETI”), a leader in the banking sector in Africa. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) a World Bank agency. Paulo obtained a Master’s degree with Honors in Economic Policy and Management from the Kennedy School of Government (USA). While a student, Paulo also served with the Monitor Group, a consulting firm; and with Citizens Energy, an energy corporation owned by the Kennedy family, as an assistant to Michael Kennedy. Paulo obtained a Certificat d’Etudes Politiques from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po Paris) and obtained a B.A. in Economics and International Trade from the Institut d’Etudes des Relations Internationales (ILERI).
