Bashar is an entrepreneur that has established several businesses in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and London. From 2002-2009 he co-founded Ecico Group’s Hong Kong procurement business and established major clients in Europe and the Middle East. In 2005 he founded Cicero Capital that invested in prime real estate in Guangzhou and London. Cicero Capital built up an investment portfolio of high end residential and commercial properties in Guangzhou that caters to foreign multinationals and local state owned enterprises requirements. Bashar also entered the F&B business in 2008 and opened his first restaurant in Guangzhou.

Simon is a co-founder of CloudApps and is responsible for Professional Services Delivery and Corporate Strategy. Prior to founding CloudApps, Simon spent 4 years at Salesforce.com leading the adoption of the pioneering Force.com platform across EMEA. Under Simon’s guidance the Force.com platform in Europe grew to be a multi-million dollar business. With over 20 years experience in the software industry, Simon was responsible for the widespread sales and adoption of the Force.com platform; helping numerous Salesforce.com’s customers to build and sell their very own Software-as-a-Service applications. Prior to joining Salesforce.com Simon was responsible for the financial services business at Siebel Systems in the UK. Previously, he has held senior positions at Business Objects and Accenture. Simon has a BSc in Computer Science from Bristol University. He is married with two children and lives in Oxfordshire, UK.

Mark Mackey

Mark was one of the founders of Cresset when the company was formed in 2002. He became CSO in 2013 and heads up our scientific team. Mark has made fundamental contributions to our underlying scientific approach and to the development of the software. He works hard to extend the scientific base of the company in a way that is consistent with our reputation of rigorous scientific excellence. His team’s current research includes new ways of applying the XED force fields to proteins and improving the handling of water molecules. Mark’s previous experience includes roles at Napp Pharmaceuticals and Merck, Sharpe and Dohme. His PhD is in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
