Gordon Tees is founder and a board director of PNC (pnc.co.uk). Formerly the Systems Manager at Goldman Sachs Europe, Tees left Goldman to found PNC (Premier Networks Consulting Ltd) in 1992. PNC came to prominence by supplying cutting-edge technology solutions to the Banking, Finance, Insurance and Media sectors. It notably won Deloitte’s Fast 50 Award two years in a row (www.deloitte.co.uk/fast50filter/) in 1997 and 1998. Tees sold his controlling stake in PNC, by then PNC (UK) plc, in 2001. He joined Lehman Brothers in 2001 and bolstered management in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack which destroyed Lehman’s technology offices in the World Trade Center. He stayed with Lehman for over four years, initially responsible for the Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management and Private Client Services technology divisions. Latterly he relocated to New York as Global Head of Finance Technology, responsible for the financial records of the entire company. Following Lehman, Gordon Tees returned to PNC (pnc.co.uk) as Board Director where he focuses on a number of online technology investments, providing them with management and technical expertise and, where required, financing.
