Dr. Mehta has strong industry-academic project engagements with both civilian and defence sectors (HP research laboratories Palo Alto, California, USA, BAE Systems UK, Ministry of Defence / DSTL UK, UK Home office, US Dept. of Home Land Security, etc). Dr Mehta has given a number of IEEE special seminars based on his leading research in various institutions including the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, University of Toronto, and National University of Singapore.
