Constantine is one of the founders (in 1985) of Greycon. Constantine was born in Greece and studied mathematics at Cambridge (BA, MA) and Control Systems at Imperial College (M.Sc.). He completed his Ph.D. in combinatorial optimisation, the cutting stock problem also at Imperial. He is particularly proud that some of the code he wrote then is still in daily production use at many plants around the world, as part of Greycon’s X-Trim. In the Greek army he learned, among other things, exactly how many chickens it takes to feed a regiment and has amassed collection of army stories to tell. He has also served as Deputy Director of the Industrial Systems Group at Imperial College. During 2010 he also consulted with the Greek Ministry of Finance, advising on how tax collection could be improved; the proposals were adopted a month later. In November 2013 he attended the 3-week Advanced Leadership Programme at Cambridge.

He was CEO of Trigold, a 120 person IT company which was the leading provider of mortgage sourcing, compliance and electronic transactions software to the UK mortgage market. Trigold had 25,000 subscribers and was used by some of the largest UK intermediary networks including AXA, Bankhall, Legal & General, Personal Touch Financial Services, Positive Solutions and Sesame. In addition, Trigold developed electronic links with over 60 lenders for the submission of electronic mortgage transactions and with over 10 insurance providers or aggregators. During his tenure he led the transformation from a loss making business with less than 2,000 customers into a highly profitable, market leading business with over 25,000 customers, accounting for c60% of the market. Trigold experienced a compounded annual growth in revenue of 107%. During this same period, he expanded the business from 50 to 120 employees. Trigold won numerous national and industry awards including Deloitte Fast 50 (2005, 2006, 2007), Sunday Times TechTrack 100 (2005, 2006) and Real Business Hot 100 (2007). .
